Siddharth Dungarwal: Founder & CEO of Snitch

Siddharth Dungarwal Born on August 10, 1987, in Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), a mining town 100 km from Bangalore, Siddharth Dungarwal’s journey to founding Snitch—India’s ₹500 crore+ D2C menswear Brand—is a testament to grit, adaptability, and an unshakable belief in "learning by doing."

The Early Hustle: B2B Beginnings

Commerce graduate from Bhagwan Mahavir Jain College, Bangalore, Siddharth’s tryst with fashion began at 18 when he launched 4EVER, a 400-sq-ft retail store in Frazer Town (still operational!). What started as a passion project soon pivoted to B2B after local retailers began sourcing from him.

The Pivot That Defined His Career:
2012, a failed fabric deal (due to a supplier audit) forced Siddharth to convert surplus fabric into shirts, despite zero production experience. A trial order of 500 shirts sold out to a Mumbai retailer, unlocking his knack for design agility and supply-chain hustle.

Building Snitch: From 39 Products to Profitability

Pre-D2C Era (2009–2020):

  • Bootstrapped Snitch as a B2B manufacturer, supplying 100+ retailers and major brands for 12+ years.

  • Mastered lean manufacturingtrend forecasting, and full-stack control—core pillars of Snitch’s future success.

Pandemic Pivot (July 2020):

With lockdowns crushing B2B demand, Siddharth bet big on D2C:

  • Launched snitch.co.in with just 4 employees and 39 products.

  • First sale within 1 hour of going live.

  • No prior e-commerce experience—relied on intuition and customer feedback loops.

Key Milestones:

  • Profitability achieved within 3 years (rare for D2C).

  • ₹500 crore net sales in FY25; targeting ₹1,000 crore this fiscal.

  • 58+ stores → 100+ by 2025, with Middle East expansion underway.

Leadership Mantras: Hands-On & Heart-Driven

  1. "Own Your Channels": Even with quick commerce, 90% of Snitch’s sales flow through its app-integrated stores (doubling as dark stores).

  2. "Fail Fast, Learn Faster": The 2020 pivot was risky, but Siddharth’s operational rigour (learned from B2B days) minimised bloat.

  3. "Team = Growth": Fosters a culture where employees "think like founders"—Snitch’s low attrition rate speaks volumes.

In His Words:
*"Fashion isn’t about chasing trends—it’s about predicting them faster than others. Our weekly drops and in-house design team let us turn ideas into products in 15 days flat."*
